Under limited supervision and direction, the Applications Analyst provides leadership and coordination of application system support and application development involving a broad range of business areas and technical platforms.
Performs Applications Analyst activities and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate business requirements and prepare detailed functional and technical specifications to develop custom applications or procure and configure COTS applications
Analyze, evaluate and present configuration and design solutions objectively and facilitate requirement conflict resolution
Develop and maintain application system documentation
Implement, troubleshoot, administer and maintain custom application, no/low code application and COTS application environments
Generates innovative ideas to resolve real world problems with consideration for hardware/software capacity and operating constraints in worldwide operations
Collaborates with business users and other IT staff to provide complete solutions
Follow generally accepted and established project management methodologies
Meet or exceed defined target goals and milestones for projects
Develop strategies to improve application lifecycle management
Documents work completed and identifies and analyzes trends of technical issues
Perform training for custom and no/low code applications
Required education, knowledge, skills and abilities:
At least 3 years experience with programming languages: HTML/Javascript/C#/ASP.
Net OR
At least 3 years experience with Sharepoint 365 and Power Platform OR
At least 3 years experience with implementing, administering and maintaining COTS application systems OR
Any equivalent combination of the above
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience
At least 2 years experience with SQL Server 2012/2016: T-SQL queries, schema modification, SSIS, troubleshooting and administration
Demonstrated working knowledge of application systems, development and integrations
Demonstrated ability to communicate with both IT staff and business users with varying technical backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs and requirements into workable solutions
Demonstrated ability in time management and task prioritization
Knowledge of RPA tools, Virtual Machines and cloud services
Multi-lingual preferred: English, Spanish, Italian
