* *POSITION TITLE: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH/HOUSING SUPERVISOR* *DEPARTMENT: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH/ HOUSING* *REPORTS TO: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH MANAGER* *GENERAL SUMMARY* The Behavioral Health/Housing Supervisor supports with the daily operations of Behavioral Health and Housing services.
They assist management with all components of stakeholder contract compliance.
The position requires knowledge and understanding of psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation with an emphasis on community integration and normalization of the client population.
*MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES* * Supports its manager with evaluating behavioral health and housing staff support.
* Ensures staff complies with all mandatory trainings and meetings, inclusive of clinical supervision * Reviews staff case notes and billing logs to ensure quality service delivery and timely billing * Supports its manager with monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal stakeholders.
* Interprets contracts and trains staff on contract deliverables, inclusive of non-compliance issues and scheduled audits * Supports its manager with ensuring annual contract and licensing renewals are completed.
* Supports its manager with contributing to the development of Agency’s annual budget planning cycle.
* Attends and participates in all mandatory trainings, meetings, inclusive of management meetings supervision and “on-call” schedule.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the Human Services Manager.
*WORK ENVIRONMENT* *A.
* *Supervision* Supports with supervision of Behavioral Health and Housing staff.
_At least one (1) year or more of previous supervisory experience.
_ *B.
* *Confidentiality* This position is exposed to highly confidential client and Agency information.
*C.
* *Mental Application and Responsibility* This position involves high level responsibility for administering company policies and procedures and a moderate level of responsibility for problem resolution and making clinical and administrative decisions.
Staff must exercise sound judgement and ethical standards in handling direct care and supervisory duties.
*D.
* *Internal and Public Contacts* This position involves a high degree of interaction with staff, customers, family members, and other social services agency staff.
*E.
* *Conditions and Equipment* Working conditions will include in-home, clinical, and administrative office settings for the provision of services.
Equipment operation will include general office equipment, computers, communication tools, and recreational tools appropriate to activities.
*F.
* *Physical Demands* The work environment includes home and office settings, staff must be able to walk up and down stairs and have the ability to lift up to (25) pounds.
*ABILITIES* *A.
* *Language (Communication)* Must be able to communicate clearly and effective orally and in writing; possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
*B.
* *Mathematical* Basic mathematics are required for the position, such as when performing rent calculations and issuing rent receipts.
*C.
* *Reasoning* Strong analytical skills and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
The position requires a basic understanding of working with people with disabilities.
*D.
* *Other* Ability to follow oral or written directions, functions effectively under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines; possess strong organization skills with an emphasis on detail.
The position requires a basic understanding of the Arizona State Housing Rules, Regulations, and Tenant Act.
The position requires knowledge and understanding of psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation with an emphasis on community integration and normalization of the client population.
*QUALIFICATIONS* *A.
* *Education* Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Psychology, or related field.
_Master’s Degree Preferred_ *B.
* *Experience* Three (3) years of progressive responsibilities and experience in service delivery At least one (1) year or more of experience with SMI, DSM-V, or Mental Health Services *C.
* *Other* Must be over 21 years of age Must possess a valid driver’s license Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card Must be able to obtain valid certifications for Agency compliance within 90-days of employment Pass background check inclusive of Excluded Provider List System (EPLS) and the Health and Human Services (HHS) List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) *DRUG-FREE WORK ENVIRONMENT* The Agency is committed to the development and maintenance of a drug free environment in accordance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988.
