The Employment Services Manager is responsible for the management of the state employment contracts, the employees serving on those contracts, and all compliance.
The Employment Services Manager serves on the Management Team, and contributes to annual budget submissions and strategic planning activities.
*MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES* * Contributes to the annual budget projections for employment services departments.
* Ensures that all components of contract compliance are met and maintains audit readiness.
Oversees the development and updates to Client policies, Client handbook, and Quality Plan pertinent to Employment Services department.
Ensures all job descriptions, onboarding documents, and staff reviews are completed on time.
* Attends all management trainings, meetings, and board meetings when requested.
* Maintains accreditation status for Employment Services.
* Oversees business relationships/partnerships required for employment training opportunities and expansion; maintains stakeholder relationships with funding sources.
* Performs other duties as assigned by CEO/Director of Human Services.
*WORK ENVIRONMENT* *A.
Supervision* This position provides direct or indirect supervision for all Employment Services management team, inclusive but limited of Employment Services Regional Managers, Employment Services Supervisor, and Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor.
*B.
Confidentiality* This position is exposed to highly confidential client and Agency information.
*C.
Mental Application and Responsibility* This position involves high level of decision making and is responsible for setting policy and procedures.
Must use sound judgment, involving the President/COO and other Management Team members as appropriate.
*D.
Internal and Public Contacts* This position involves extensive interaction with peers, subordinates and supervisors, as well as high level interactions with community leaders, providers, the Arizona Department of Economic Security, federal government personnel, stakeholders and others.
*E.
Conditions and Equipment* Working conditions include office settings and program settings.
The Employment Services Manager is expected to be active in community groups, supervise a variety of programs and facilities in a variety of settings and travel as necessary.
Equipment operation includes general office equipment, computers and communication tools.
*ABILITIES* *A.
Language (Communication)* Must be able to communicate clearly and effective orally and in writing; possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
*B.
Reasoning* Strong analytical skills and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
*C.
Other* Ability to follow oral or written directions, functions effectively under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines; possess strong organization skills with an emphasis on detail.
Must be able to develop, implement and supervise programs in a culturally sensitive manner; prepare budgets; and demonstrate knowledge of licensing requirements and program operations.
*QUALIFICATIONS* *A.
Education* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Human Services/Social Services, or related field required.
*B.
Experience * Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience providing and administering social services programs.
*C.
Other * Must be over 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Must be able to obtain valid certifications for Agency compliance within 90-days of employment.
Pass background check inclusive of Excluded Provider List System (EPLS) and the Health and Human Services (HHS) List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.
