*Responsibilities:*
* Implement and oversee quality control programs to ensure the production of high-quality food products,
* Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods.
* Stay informed about food safety regulations and standards.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and quality.
* Keep accurate records of quality assurance activities, test results, and corrective actions.
* Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with production teams to implement changes.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
* Actively participate in quality and food safety audits.
* Review, trend and provide feedback on customer complaints.
* Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in food science, quality management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in quality assurance within the food processing industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
