Hurricane Norma struck La Paz just before Hurricane Otis struck Alcapulco.
Alcapulco got destroyed, but La Paz was not spared.
Mostly affected was the expat community of sailors.
The authorities in Mexico have completely forsaken all sailors who were anchored and many in marinas.
No help is being offered to raise boats and worse, the authorities are actively encouraging looting, which prevents people from refloating their vessels.
We need donations for those who lost everything and volunteers to help refloat people's boats and help find or replace missing items.
We lost our ship and everything aboard.
But we are still helping others with their losses.
We have refloated our ship but have lost everything needed to take care of a disabled gentleman.
We hope to find volunteers who can come down.

clothing and shoes(mens large, waist 34, shoe 13)
swimsuits
natural fiber blankets and sheets
We will coordinate collection of donated items and have them brought down by our volunteer coordinator in Quartzsite or anyone who volunteers.
