Peace of Mind Consultants, PLLC provides mobile psychiatric services (psychiatric evaluations, medication management, consultation, etc) to various Long Term Care, Skilled Rehab, and Assisted Living facilities throughout Arizona.
Understanding that mental health is vital to healthy living, we endeavor to provide exceptional care to those who suffer from medical and mental illnesses which affect their quality of life.
*We are looking for dedicated, self motivated,* *high integrity Psychiatric Providers who are desiring flexibility and autonomy in their practice.
Currently, we are seeking Providers to services the needs of patients and facilities in the following regions:*
* *Yuma*
*POSITION SUMMARY*
-Directs, coordinates, and provides psychiatric services to patients residing at care facilities in the community.
This includes:
* Therapeutic engagement
* Psychiatric assessment
* Treatment planning
* Medication management
* Family collaboration
* Brief supportive psychotherapy interventions
* Facility training/support
* Ordering referrals
* Similar activities within a licensed psychiatric provider scope of practice.
* FLEXIBLE CASELOAD (Average 10-12 patients per day!)
* FLEXIBLE HOURS & SCHEDULING
* NO WEEKENDS OR NATIONAL HOLIDAYS
* MINIMAL ON-CALL
Best efforts will be made to accommodate Providers by assigning facilities nearest their home residence.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification program.
* 1 year experience (Highly qualified new graduates will be considered).
* Competency in Electronic Medical Record use with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Reliable portable laptop computer with consistent internet access.
* Consistent reliable transportation.
* Requires effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Self motivated with efficiency in working with minimum oversight.
* Sound judgment, organizational skills, and excellent time management are essential.
* Must maintain excellent relationships with patient's, families, and facility stakeholders.
* Preferred typing skills of 50 wpm.
* Special consideration for bilingual applicants.
